WASHINGTONIA ROBUSTA: Mexican Fan Palm

Cold hardy into the low 20s, a fast grower in the palm world. Drought tolerant

and low maintenance. They will perform best in full sun in a well draining soil.

 

With young "Washys": 

It is important that you do not over water as roots have a tendency to rot.

Cover when the temperature is expected to fall below freezing until they are well established.

They will become more cold tolerant with maturity.
